Hanoi rocks was so influential and yet endured a lot of shit and was and is underrated, motley Crüe, guns n'roses, faster pussycat, these are but a few of bands that were moderately influenced by Hanoi rocks, I remember Michael Monroe, Andy McCoy, and nasty suicide as members, sadly, drummer, dazzle, died in a car accident , with Vince Neil of motley Crüe at the wheel, my favorite song is " tragedy" Wasp, they are so fuckin underrated , they are shock rock/ metal, blackie lawless is badass, and they are still touring, one of the few survivors of the 80's Los Angeles metal scene, my favorite song is" scream until you like it" from the ghoulies soundtrack and "mean man" from the headless Album ...
Back in my late teens and early twenties I took a job or two in a deli, so I got my introduction to wunderbar bologna, I don't know if there is any classification other than German bologna, maybe the name just sounded cool , anyhow it sold really well and I think it is great Saturday nights, in the Knoxville, tn metro area on wimz were fuckin great, cause from like 7 p.m. Until midnight a syndicated radio show called pirate radio USA would come on, it played hard rock/metal, shadow Steele was the host, and pirate radio was based from Los Angeles radio station kqlz, which was part of the Westwood one syndication empire... But, like all good things they have to come to an end... Back in the early nineties in the Knoxville metro area a radio station carried the nationally syndicated programming of z-rock- it was based in Dallas Texas, and my best memory came from listening to the z-rock 50 , it was on Sunday nights and it was a countdown of the top 50 hard rock/ metal songs of the week, slayer, and slaughter, warrior soul and winger, Danzig to def leppard all in one countdown , along with iron maiden , kix, and many others... A great time to be alive... Another tank, I might change the paint scheme, to urban camo and just drive through town harassing dumbass drivers I am without a vehicle for the near future so why not dream about having what I really need ?
